Can a Christian be disqualified from the Rapture and Salvation?

Can a Christian be disqualified and miss the Rapture? Can you?

by the ministry of The Joseph Plan

Do you ever wonder if you or a loved one are assured of being included in the Rapture?

Is it possible that a Christian can do something that could disqualify them from the rapture and Salvation?

How can one know if we were we ever qualified in the first place?

   Or were we deceived?

Many people are asking these questions.

We invite you to discover what the Word has to say about societies deception. It may surprise you.

Can all Christians be assured of being raptured and salvation? For a full analysis see the RAPTURE FOREWARNING ADVISORY, Toward the bottom of this page.

Is everyone who attends your church and refers to themselves as a Christian assured of being raptured?

How about those who never go to church but lead Christian lives?

Over 60% of all Americans consider themselves to be Christian. Is 60% of America going to be raptured? About 30-35% are regular church attendees and most folks would consider them “good people”. Will all these be raptured?

This may be the most serious and most difficult article I have endeavored to write for the Joseph Plan. There are so many questions being asked and so much anxiety within the church concerning the soon coming rapture of the Lords church. People from all over the world and all denominations can feel that it is getting close. As we have examined in this ministry, most of the signs that Jesus talked about as needing to happen before His return have occurred or are taking place today. There are very few signs that must take place before the tribulation starts. The signs that our Lord gives us are the signs of His second coming. But most of us believe that the rapture will take place before that time.

“Take heed that no one deceives you” Matthew 24 (Be wary of non-biblical teachings.)

In this writing we are going to analyze the Word of God, the Holy Bible, and discover whether or not there is any reasons provided in the Word that a Christian can be disqualified and not be raptured.

In other words, are all people who identify themselves to be a Christian, guaranteed to be raptured? The answer may surprise you. And it is a very important question. We all can feel how ugly it is getting now. What will it be like six months or a year after the light of the world has been taken away?

Please read a post on “Do ALL good people go to heaven”?

https://thejosephplan.org/2012/01/most-evangelicals-believe-good-people-are-heaven-bound/

But first we need to define some terms. The most important is the term- Christian. What does it mean when the Lord promises eternal salvation and thus the rapture to all true Christians?

The definition we will be using to establish who we are talking about when we use the term true Christian believer is:

All those who believe that Jesus Christ IS the one true God and the only way to salvation. All those who have surrendered their will and their lives to Him, asked Him into their hearts, repented of their sins and that have the Holy Spirit within them are true Christians. They are the saved true believers and followers of Jesus Christ.

We will also be using the term Christian more loosely, when we refer to all members or people who attend a “Christian Church or Assembly”.

But the two groups are not necessarily mutually exclusive. Just because someone is sitting in or a member of a church does not mean that they are guaranteed salvation or are going to be caught up with the rapture. They believe that God is real. They may have attended Sunday  school and try hard each day to do the right thing. They may say prayers most days and think or believe they are a Christian. When asked, 60 to 70% of all Americans say they are Christian. About have of those attend church or a fairly regular basis. But many are being deceived or ill taught and will be disqualified from the rapture and salvation. That is according to the Bible, not just this pastor. How can this be?

Let’s define Disqualified.

Disqualified (“reprobates” in the King James Version, Strong’s #1384: adókimos) means, “not standing the test, rejected.” It suggests “unacceptable,” “disapproved,” “unworthy,” “spurious,” “worthless,” “cast away.”

There are so many of us expecting the rapture soon, many very, very soon.

1 Corinthians 15:51-52

1Co 15:51  Behold, I speak a mystery to you; we shall not all fall asleep, but we shall all be changed;

1Co 15:52  in a moment, in a glance of an eye, at the last trumpet. For a trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall all be changed.

1Thessalonians4:16-17                                                                                                                                                             1Th 4:16  For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ shall rise first.

1Th 4:17  Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. And so we shall ever be with the Lord. [clearright]

Will we be all going? Is there a way for us to know? Is there anything in our lives that could disqualify us?

How can you and I be sure? The Word has strong advice for us. There are  ways for all of us to know for sure. All true Christians are guaranteed the rapture. I strongly urge you to stay with this teaching. Even if you are guaranteed to be on the first flight out of here, you very well may be able to help a lost family member or loved one.

The Lord tells us to EXAMINE our self.

2Co 13:5  Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? MKJV

The CEV states it this way.

2Co 13:5  Test yourselves and find out if you really are true to your faith. If you pass the test, you will discover that Christ is living in you. But if Christ isn’t living in you, you have failed.

Yes, Examine ones self. Test your self in a very deep and prayerful examination. Now is the time to take an honest inventory. The Bible has all the answers for you.

It is our prayer that none of us are disqualified from the Rapture. Please don’t be overwhelmed or panic about this. But now is the time for action. None of us should put off a good truthful self-examination until a later tomorrow. How many tomorrows do we have left?

So, how should we start this examination.

First of all pray. Pray for the Lord’s mercy, understanding and wisdom. Pray and ask for discernment. Here is what it says in the book of Romans.

Rom 8:16  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

When we ask the Lord, in Jesus Christ’s name, He assures us with His peace and understanding. Listen up everyone. When asked, God confirms to His children that they are saved and He never lies. Pray IN THE NAME of JESUS CHRIST to make sure the enemy isn’t getting in your way. If for any reason you question your salvation, go to a quiet place, alone, and talk to Jesus. Repent of your sins and commit your life to Him. Then go to a bible believing church or fellow Christian and get baptized.

Relax. He is faithful! He always listens and always responds!

The Salvation Prayer (click here) is in the Blog in the right column of this page.

That is the most important issue when we are seeking to make sure we are not disqualified from the rapture. If you are truly saved, you are assured Salvation and a seat on the first flight out of here. You’ll be swooped up into the clouds in the Rapture to meet Jesus. Praise the Lord! Free at last. That is an absolute promise from the Lord.

We have an entire posting on the subject of whether or not a true Spirit-filled Christian can lose their salvation. The answer is a resounding NO! That is assuming that they were truly saved and only God and they can know that for sure. A Christian can fall into sinful habits and thinking. But we can repent, correct our course and get back on track. It is important for us to understand that God choose you for salvation and that He does not change His mind. So, it is all about us and our relationship with Him.

The Bible does not give us an easy checklist we can download and work from. The Bible gives us important information and lessons we need to use. It gives us THE definitive information on this topic. I am making my notes and a research report available to all interested at the end of this presentation.

Our battle is not with the flesh and blood. It is with the spiritual. The demonic uses our flesh and natural desires to pull us off base. That is called sin and we are all vulnerable. Even Christians can be targets. We may have a sinful thought or speak or act in a sinful way. Will that disqualify us from the rapture? We serve a great and wonderful God. He knows us and our human condition. He is our creator. He has provided us with the greatest of gifts. Gifts of the ability to repent and ask for His forgiveness. Jesus Christ, at the cross, did it all for us and we are never to doubt that. If we stumble and sin, we have the solution. Repentance and being washed clean, all over again. The Blood of Jesus washes all sin. When we take communion that is what we are doing.

We can accept the Lord’s forgiveness when we repent. But remember, when we repent it means we have to change something. But we are powerless to change many things on our own. Only God has the true power to intercede and make the needed changes. Only Jesus Christ can be called upon as the most powerful name in the universe.

We may have to allow God to take away some things in our life that are very important to us or part of who we are. Some of this is going to hurt. But I guarantee you it will be just a temporary, small amount of pain, in exchange for an eternity of gain. Have you let God change you?

Here is the Bible teaching that I advise all to use to start your Examination. Remember—we examine ourselves–honestly.

For starters I recommend we all read and pray on the Ten Commandments and then Galatians ch 5. The entire chapter. Galatians 5 is very instructive and too many pastors either skip it or soft pedal it by simply teaching on “the Fruit of the Spirit” when it is taught. But the Spirit of God did not inspire the tough parts to be included for us to blow it off. Each and every word of the Word is inspired and essential for our sakes. Especially today!

Chapter 5 identifies for us how we can tell if we are truly living our lives in the freedom of the Fruits of The Spirit or in bondage to the “Works of The Flesh”!

The question becomes-Are we a slave to Christ or a slave to the Bondage of the flesh?

Pay attention to this please. Being assured of not being amongst those who are disqualified from the rapture is what’s at stake

True Christians live with the Holy spirit and are obedient to His ways and are thus assured salvation. All will be raptured.

Those that are disqualified are living their lives in some sort of “Works of the Flesh” and have not accepted Jesus Christ into their hearts as their personal Saviour through repentence. Many are choosing sinful life styles.

We find in Galatians ch 5 verses 16-21:

Gal 5:16  I say, then, Walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

Gal 5:17  For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh.  And these are contrary to one another; lest whatever you may will, these things you do.

Gal 5:18  But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.

The “Works of the Flesh” identified!

Gal 5:19  Now the works of the flesh are clearly revealed, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lustfulness,

Gal 5:20  idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, fightings, jealousies, angers, rivalries, divisions, heresies,

Gal 5:21  envyings, murders, drunkennesses, revelings, and things like these; of which I tell you before, as I also said before, that they who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

The above verses are very serious and given out of love. I encourage you to not try and rationalize your situation or life style. I don’t think God will listen to your whining any way. It is not the intention of this ministry to cause anyone great distress or emotional or spiritual pain. It’s our mission to bring you the truth.

Get your copy of the “Rapture ForeWarning Advisory” on the sign up form below.

The examination should disclose if any of the above are “A Part Of You”. A stronghold of sin. It will disclose if you are living a life in bondage to “The Works of the Flesh”. Or an area of your life where you have exempted yourself from God’s rules. You have somehow excused your own thoughts or actions. We must face up to the facts of what is important. Jesus is coming back and the Rapture is going to be fairly soon upon us. Is it important to you that you and your loved ones are included?

But we must repent and rid ourselves of the above works of the flesh. That means getting free of the above bondage’s. Examine yourself NOW! Make a decision today to stop whatever it is and go to the Lord in prayer. He is gracious and He is strong enough.

This writing is not addressing that one situation when a mistake is made. That is what Jesus died for. We will only be made perfect after the rapture. If a true Christian makes a mistake and stumbles in one of the above sins we are blessing in having repentance and the gift of forgiveness from Jesus.

If you are a true Christian and have been involved with any of the above works of the flesh in the past and have repented — YOU HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN! Repentance means to have allowed God to have changed us. Once we have truly repented, we can rest on the greatest news of the Gospel. Your slate has been washed clean. Jesus did it all for you. So relax and thank Jesus for what He did on the cross for you and me.

And the Word isn’t done. In 2 Timothy ch 3 1-7 we read:

2Ti 3:1  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2Ti 3:2  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

2Ti 3:3  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

2Ti 3:4  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

2Ti 3:5  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

2Ti 3:6  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

2Ti 3:7  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

The Word explains in 2 Timothy to encourage and strengthen us.

2Tim 3:14  But continue in the things that you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them,

2Tim 3:15  and that from a babe you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

2Tim 3:16  All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

2Tim 3:17  that the man of God may be perfected, thoroughly furnished to every good work.

Let’s slow down for a moment and consider an example of what the Word in Galatians ch 5 is telling us. This teaching is adult food. It is definitely not an apple sauce and mash potatoes meal.

Are you a born again Christian? Do you believe you will be coming with the body of Christ at the rapture. It is our prayer that all people who believe will  be qualified.

Here is a question. Are you living with someone you aren’t married to are and having sexual relations with that person? Because if you are not married and are having sexual relations with your partner it is called FORNICATION. Please look it up in verse 19 of chapter 5 in the Book of Galatians, mentioned above. There is no wiggle room here. There is no hiding. The Word says that if you or anyone living IN this life style may be disqualified from the Rapture and eternal life. This is important folks. Our souls are at stake.

The Word puts it this way. I paraphrase. If you are living in Fornication you are living in the spirit of “The Works of The Flesh” and those “who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God”.

That means possible disqualification from salvation and the rapture and that is serious. The “Rapture ForeWarning Advisory will help you to “Examine Yourself”!

But the age of Grace is still upon us and the Rapture hasn’t happened today yet. There is time for you to make changes and repent. But I would start changing this situation that society has gotten you into today. It can be done with love and caring for your partner. Please make a decision right now to save your soul and bear some short term pain and embarrassment. Better to have a little pain now than spend an eternity in the disqualification zone. We will speak a lot more on this in the special report coming any day now. See the note on the bottom of this page.

This teaching has been about examining ourselves to determine if we are in  danger of being disqualified from the rapture and eternal salvation. But if anyone should miss the rapture, for whatever reason, they will be given a second chance. But the Age of Grace will be over. The true church will have been taken out of the way. The light will grow dim upon the world and it will be almost unbearable.

1Th 5:6  Therefore let us not sleep as the rest do, but let us watch and be calm.

1Th 5:7  For those sleeping sleep in the night, and those being drunken are drunken in the night.

1Th 5:8  But let us, who are of the day, be calm, having put on the breastplate of faith and love and the hope of salvation for a helmet.

1Th 5:9  For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

1Th 5:10  who died for us, so that whether we watch or sleep we should live together with Him.

1Th 5:11  Therefore comfort one another, and edify one another, even as you also do.

Examine yourself and trust Jesus Christ. He is here and waiting to cleanse and justify you right now Today may be your day to make some changes. Let the power of God help you. We are powerless over so many things. He is the powerful one and can move mountains.

Remember that:

Philippians 3:20  For our citizenship is in Heaven, from which also we are looking for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

3:21  who shall change our body of humiliation so that it may be fashioned like His glorious body, according to the working of His power, even to subdue all things to Himself.

1 Thessalonians 5:21 Test(Examine) all things, and hold firmly that which is good.

Is there any hurry? Read The Feast of Tumpets-2012. Will the Rapture happen during God’s Feasts?

***A sub-note. Even the dark side knows that the rapture is going to happen. They have been setting up the scenario to explain the disappearance of millions of Christians for decades. Their answer will be that UFO’s snatched us up. The entire UFO phenomenon is demonically inspired and will be used to justify their purposes. Oh, those foolish people!
