What the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Let us imagine together what our world could have been like if our pastors had preached and taught the people the truth about sin and how it separates us from God, Love, Joy and Peace!
Let us imagine together what our world could have been like if our pastors had stood in the Gap and proclaimed the truth about God’s ways and the consequences of rebelling in sin against it.
Let’s try to imagine together, what a difference it would be making in everyone’s and their families live’s, if they would have been taught the truth of God’s saving grace and on how to realize a life of peace, joy and love!
The modern Christian Church has, to a large part, failed in its mission. As a result, the world and so many of our families are angry and in rebellion because of their sin.
Sin separates one from God’s true Love.
Sin separates one from all of the blessings that God has for His true kids.
Sin brings sickness, anger, bitterness, guilt, shame and resentments into one’s life.
Sin prevents a person from walking each day being protected and empowered by the “Blood of Jesus”.
Sin prevents one from healings that only God can do.
Sin is a major cause of cancer, depression, anxiety and countless other human sicknesses.
All this is known to the pastors of hundreds of thousands of Luke Warm, Seeker Friendly, Christian churches.
Yet, some can only just imagine a life filled with love, joy and peace. So many can only just imagine a life that is not consumed by anger, depression and fear. Why? Because the people are not being taught, they are not repenting and the truth is not be declared by the modern church!
God said it would be like this.
God said that the church would fall down on the job. In His Word, He has told us that in the last days the church would be in Apostasy. In Rev 3 it says that it would be:
*A church that was simply luke warm, instead of on fire for the truth.
*A church that honored prosperity and materialism as much or more than the Gospel.
*A church that no longer taught the one thing necessary for Eternal Salvation. The absolute need for every Christian to Repent to be saved. For without repentance there can be no salvation.
In Revelations 3, in His letter to the Laodocians, God through John states:
Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
God hates the lukewarm church.
If God hates a lukewarm church, what is His opinion of a lukewarm Christian?
Being Lukewarm to God’s truths would make someone vulnerable to to false teachings and the “Doctrines of Demons” that has been brought into many churches. See the teaching on the “Doctrine of Demons” in the modern church here.
Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
Rom 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Rom 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Timothy 4:3 – For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
Galatians 1:8-9 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Hebrews 10:26-29 – For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Hebrews 3:12 – Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Thou art neither cold nor hot – Ye are neither heathens nor Christians – neither good nor evil – neither led away by false doctrine, nor thoroughly addicted to that which is true. In a word, they were listless and indifferent and seemed to care little whether heathenism or Christianity prevailed. Though they felt little zeal either for the salvation of their own souls or that of others, yet they had such a general conviction of the truth and importance of Christianity, that they could not readily give it up.
I would thou wert cold or hot – That is, ye should be decided; adopt some part or other, and be in earnest in your attachment to it. If ever the words of Mr. Erskine, in his Gospel Sonnets, were true, they were true of this Church:
The church of Laodocea is symbolic of the period of Church history that we are in today, the Last Age, the End Times. The period of Church history just before Jesus Christ comes again. This final letter to the church at Laodicea, in Revelations 3, was the most severe of the seven letters. There is no commendation. There is nothing positive ever said to this church in this letter, only criticism, only condemnation. This church definitely needed to rekindle the fire. This church had lost its fire for the true Gospel. The need for the Blood Sacrifice that our Lord had made on the cross was no longer being taught in the endtimes church.
To clarify, “Repentance means that you realize that you are a guilty, vile sinner in the presence of God, that you deserve the wrath and punishment of God and that you are hell-bound. It means that you begin to realize that this thing called sin is in you, that you long to get rid of it, and that you turn your back on it in every shape and form. You renounce the world whatever the cost, the world in its mind and outlook as well as its practice, and you deny yourself, and take up the cross and go after Christ.”
Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
The nauseating state of the church that is focused on Prosperity and physical wealth.
Interesting how the church observes itself versus how Jesus observes the church.
In the church of Laodocea, Christians are judged by their prosperity and materialism more than the fruits of their Spirits and fruitful works.
Rev 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried (refined) in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
That is of the Holy Spirit.
Gold is refined in a fire. Our Faith is also refined by fire. By trials, temptations and tribulations. Materialism and wealth can get in the way of our refinement, growth and thus reliance on God. Materialism can blind us from seeing God as being the answer to all of our problems.
He refines our faith to grow our trust in Him for ALL THINGS. Is your church encouraging you to put your trust in Him for all things, thus stronger and spiritually powerful OR trying to empower you to be strong and self-reliant, based on your self-will and personal wealth?
God doesn’t want us to have a shallow faith, but faith that has been refined and strengthened in difficult times.
God is looking for people who will trust Him during the storms of life.
Peter and the other disciples were on the Sea of Galilee during a bad storm. Jesus came to them walking on water. Peter tried to get out of the boat and walk with Jesus. When Peter took his eyes off of Jesus, he began to sink.
Peter wrote later-
(1 Pe 1:6–7 NKJV) —6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
We want to run from difficult times, but they are the things that produce in us the most precious kind of faith, faith that is pure and refined.
Rev 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
And here He is loving the church enough, in this sad condition, to care enough to rebuke it.
Oh, how patient the Lord is. He still loves the church in this apostate condition. “As many as I love, I rebuke.” If the Lord has rebuked you, then be thankful He loves you. Listen to Him and be obedient. If the Lord chastens you, be thankful you are His child and He loves you.
1 Corinthians 11:32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
Revelation 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
He is rebuking many right now for participating in and suppoting a Luke Warm, Bloodless church.. Are you listening?
Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Luke 12:36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
John 10:3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Matthew 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Actually, much of the church has put Christ and His New Covenant Gospel on the outside. Replacing them with New Age teachings. You can read the Gallup Polls and find it to be rather frightening to find out how many ministers do not really believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, do not believe in the virgin birth, do not believe that there is an actual heaven or hell. The percentages are down around fifty to sixty percent that don”t believe in these things. It is sad. You wonder why they are ministers.
There may be people in the modern church who have never allowed Jesus into their lives and repented.
Why? Because they have not been taught or have been mistaught.
Let today be the day that you say “yes” to Jesus.
“Repent and be saved!”
Jesus doesn’t come into a person’s heart without their permission. You have to open the door of your heart. You have to invite Him in, Repent and say “yes” to His invitation.
For without Repentance there is no Salvation. Does your church teach that? There are so many that don’t.
Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Revelation 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
See- Mat 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
In the original language the word “endure” means to maintain faith.
Rev 3:22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
Revelation 4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
Revelation 4:3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
Are you listening? Can you hear the message being poured out to Christians all over the globe?
“Heavenly Father, give us ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the church. May we tonight, O God, listen to what you would say to us. Search us, O Lord, know our hearts, try us, O God, know our thoughts, if there is a way of unrighteousness, if there is a way of deceitfulness, God help us that we would not deceive ourselves, and be blind to the truth. Lord, if there is something wrong in what we are doing, how we are doing it, if we haven’t been washed clean by your precious Blood, by repentance, let your Spirit reveal to our hearts. God, we don”t want to go on living in a lie from bad teachings. We long to know Your truth. Thy Word is truth. Teach us the whole Word that we might live in its precepts and live in its light. In Jesus” name, Amen. “
Today’s modern form of Christianity has mostly taken the need for true repentance out of its teachings.
The lack of teaching of the absolute need for repentance for salvation is one of the primary signs of the end times church of Laodocea.
FOR, Without REPENTANCE there can be NO SALVATION!
I have a complete teaching on the biblical commands for each of us to repent entitled “There is NO Salvation without Repentance” here!
Without Repentance the Light of God, the Holy Spirit, thus the Authority of the Believer cannot dwell and work inside of us.
If a part of any outside teaching, brought into your church, differs in any way from the Word of God, reject it. Leave that church now. But please, examine and pray about the heart and teachings of your pastor before leaving. Your church may be preaching and teaching the truth.
God provides us with the tools to be overcomers. Walk each day with a Faith that Endures!
You can be cleansed and healed by repentance, forgiveness and by the power of “The Blood of Jesus”!
Please pray for your pastor and church elders, that they may have God’s discernment, during these trying times!

My friend, Are you confident where you are going to spend eternity when this all ends? There is an end for all of us someday. Some of us maybe today.
There is only one way to know and be assured– Ask our Father in heaven in Jesus Christs’ name in prayer today!
Are You Saved from damnation, the eternal fate of so many?
Are you sure? Ask Him. Find out and be assured.
Rom 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.
When we ask the Lord, in Jesus Christ’s name, He assures us with His peace and understanding.
If for any reason you question your salvation, go to a quiet place, alone, and talk to Jesus. Repent of your sins and commit your life to Him. Then go to a bible believing church and get baptized. He is faithful! He always listens and always responds!
