Can “Pleading the Blood of Jesus” cause physical
miracles and healings?

Biblical instruction for “Pleading the Blood of Jesus”

God taught us from the beginning that the Blood of the Lamb, the Blood of Jesus Christ, was our best and most powerful protection from the assaults and attacks of the enemy! It is one of the primary gifts of protection that God gave the people of Israel and all of His children today.
And many ask— Is it biblical?
God gave us a way to be protected from the evil forces in this world. He gave all those, in submission and obedience to Him, this most powerful spiritual tool to overcome the enemy.
The bible explains; it is both His power of protection and the most powerful way to overcome the enemy.
The Word of God in Rev 12 clearly states that THEY, God’s people, OVERCAME HIM (Satan and his workers or demons) by the Blood.
REVELATION 12:10-11 NKJ
10 . . . the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.
11 “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
Satan is our accuser and our enemy. He wants each of us to live a life full of sin and in rebellion to God’s ways. The Blood of the Lamb is one of the major tools that God gives every true believer, so we can endure and overcome all that the evil one throws at us.
As it says in Matt 24 verse 13: But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
And God wouldn’t tell us that our faith must endure until the end, without giving each of us the tools or weapons to do it. (In the original language, “endure” means to “maintain faith”.)

They overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb. Does this pertain to us today?

You and I are the evil one’s primary targets, Satan’s targets, the demonic’s targets. He wants each of us living in sin, sick, living with a worthless testimony or dead. The Word of God teaches that we can overcome all of the devil’s plans for us by the Blood of Jesus. The Lamb of God.
There are so many within the body of Christ that ignore or even deny this most basic precept of the Christian faith. Pleading our ignorance and our good works is feeble. Only by accepting and relying on the shed Blood of the one true sacrifice, the Lamb of God, will we truly overcome. The power of the Blood that we receive after true repentance, is what washes us clean of sin and gives us the gift of righteous living and thus the authority over all demonic through the Holy Spirit.
However the enemy comes, he can be overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. We have victory over every evil because of Jesus’ shed Blood.
We all must overcome the evil one and all of his workers in order to “endure” what this fallen world puts in front of us.

We overcome the evil one by being repentant and living In Faith.

  • Overcome him in our thoughts and desires
  • Overcome him in our daily walk.
  • Overcome him in our family relationships.
  • Overcome him in our prayer life.
  • Overcome him in our work.
  • And, overcome the evil one in our personal relationship with God.
Our lives must be committed to God and living as obedient believers In Faith. We must trust Him– entirely. We must have faith in what God has done — and what He is doing. Notice the “musts”? They aren’t mere suggestions.
When we are obedient to the Word of God and do these things, the Holy Spirit is empowered within us and we can truly pronounce with authority “The Blood of Jesus” upon all evil and get His results.
“For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8)

The root of the precept teaching on the Blood of Jesus is Passover

God told the Israelite’s how to use the power of the sacrificial Blood of The Lamb, so they could escape the judgment that was to come down upon the Egyptians. He instructed them to cover the entrances to their homes with The Blood of The Lamb for protection.

God gave Moses instructions.

EXODUS 12:7,13 NKJ
7 `And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it.
13 `Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

The “Blood of the Lamb” was applied to the doors of the Israelite’s homes so the Spirit of Death would Pass Over all the protected homes and their first born.
The people of Israel who were obedient and put the Blood of a Lamb on their homes entrances were protected from the spirit of death, kept safe and their families were spared from the judgment that killed all first born in all the homes in Egypt that weren’t protected. Protected by the “Blood of the Lamb”!
This is all documented in Egyptian history books also.

EXODUS 12:21-23 NKJ

21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Pick out and take lambs for yourselves according to your families, and kill the Passover lamb.
22 “And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning.
23 “For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you.

The blood represented the Blood of the Lamb, the greatest of all sacrifices. (Rev. 13:8).
On that day the Spirit of Death Passed Over all homes and families protected by The Blood of The Lamb, Jesus Christ.
The Blood established that God had ownership of all Israelis who believed and were obedient. It established that all who had been adopted as sons and daughters into the family of God, could be spared from Satan and his evil spirits, like the one that befell upon all of Egypt.
That is the foundational precept teaching on using The Blood of Jesus for Protection in the bible. One may want to reread it a number of times. And there is much more. The Word of God contains and builds on this teaching through the Old and into the New Testament.

Christ is Our Passover- Then and Now

Christ Is our Passover. We can absolutely expect Him to provide us as much protection and deliverance today as the Lamb of God did for the children of Israel in Egypt!!!
1 CORINTHIANS 5:7 NKJ
7 . . . For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.
HEBREWS 8:6 NKJ
6 . . . He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.
LUKE 22:20 NKJ
20 Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.
We can apply the Blood over the “doorposts” of our lives to establish “legal authority” over and around it. The demonic understands God’s legal authority and has no choice other to obey it.
Through The Blood, we establish a legal boundary or ownership on everything that we have ownership of or a vested interest in and are truly concerned about.
Wherever we have a vested interest, like our home or land, our family and love ones, our job, we can establish “legal authority” over it. That is done by putting the authority of the Blood upon it. When applied, it gives the user, if a true believer, legal spiritual authority over all evil that comes against it.

All born again Christians are Redeemed and delivered by the Blood

Evil is rising everywhere. We all need to rise up and be IN the fight.
