Is the fall Feast of Trumpets or Yom Kippur of 2012 God’s Warning to His people?.

This years Feast of Trumpets could be the biggest history making time this year.

Is the official start of the tribulation going to be during September of 2012?

God has always warned His people before He executes His judgment. During these end times we are going to see many warnings and many judgments upon the unrepentant people. God warned the people before the great Flood, and He warned Niniveh before it was ruined. The Feast of Trumpets reflects God’s desire to summon His people to repentance so they can be spared His judgment.

Rosh Hashanah or the Jewish New Year is called the Feast of Trumpets in the Bible, because it begins with the Jewish Fall Holy Days and Ten Days of Awe or Repentance. And the blowing of the shofar, The purpose of the Days of Awe are to call God’s people to repent from their sins. Thus many refer to it as the time for repentance. Rosh Hashanah is also the start of the civil New Year inIsrael. It is a solemn day of reflection. A time for accepting God’s forgiveness and repentance and remembering God’s mercy and judgments.Because a replay will be happening soon.

When is Rosh Hashanah?

Rosh Hashanah is celebrated on the first day of the Hebrew month of Tishrei, which this year is September 17-18..

The Feast of Trumpets is stated in the Old Testament book of Leviticus 23:23-25 and also in Numbers 29:1-6.

The Feast of Trumpets starts on the first day of Tishrei. Which this year is Sept. 17. But it does not start until the Shofar is blown. The Shofar is blown as soon as two appointed priests can see the needed signs from heaven. Thus the bible saying “No one knows the day or the hour.” Because it could start on either the first or second day of this Feast.

About Rosh Hashanah or the Feast of Trumpets:

The Feast of Trumpets begins with Rosh Hashanah. The solemnizations continue for Ten Days of Repentance, culminating on Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement. On this final day of the High Holy Days, Jewish tradition tells how God opens the Book of Life and studies the words, actions, and thoughts of every person whose name he has written there. If a person’s good deeds outweigh or outnumber their sinful acts, his or her name will remain inscribed in the book for another year.

So, Rosh Hashanah and the Ten Days of Repentance provide God’s people with a time for reflection, turning away from sin. It is also a time for God’s judgement

Jesus and Rosh Hashanah

Rosh Hashanah is also known as the Day of Judgment. At the Final Judgment spoken of in Revelation 20:15, we read that “anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.

John 5:24tells us, Truly, truly, I say to you, He who hears My Word and believes on Him who sent Me has everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation, but has passed from death to life.

Therefore, Jesus becomes through our acceptance of his sacrifice and atonement for sin, the fulfillment of this Old Testament feast.

Over the last six thousand years almost all and we mean “almost all”, significant religious events in the world have happened on one of the Jewish Holy Days. Christ’s birth. Christ’s crucifixion, Israel’s six day war and the UN declaration of the new country of Israel all happened on one of these Holy Days. It only stands to reason that an event as significant as the second coming of our Lord would happen at this time  also. As we shall see…we are warned.

I urge you to pray about this and prepare your soul. Please refer to An Enduring Faith catagory of posts/

God is not going to abbandon His children.

Will the tribulation start on or around the Feast of Trumpets? Very possibly. The signs and our sensed season all point toward the tribulation could be starting very, very soon. But we must always remember, none of us have ever gone through anything like this before. It is a time in human history that is a first for everyone. The best scholars can differ about much of this discussion. We are all just doing our best, hopefully led by the Holy Spirit. The ministry of The Joseph Plan isn’t setting a projected date for the start of the last big event. We won’t even try to guess at the year. But I am suggesting that we should all examine ourselves, straighten our act out and consider this September as the beginning of something very special. God’s judgements are a very serious thing.

Below you find two videos by Mark Bitz. Mark does a wonderful job explaining the Jewish Holy Days and the importance of the fall feasts as they relate to today.

Mark Bitz introduces us to the Jewish roots and understanding of the Jewish Holy days. With an emphasis on the Feast of Trumpets.

Mark Bitz teaching about the importance of understanding “The Feast of Trumpets”. A MUST WATCH!

Moses Nahmanides, explains the difference between the two feasts-Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. He states. “Rosh Hashanah is a day of judgment with mercy and Yom Kippur is a day of mercy with judgment.”

The Feast of Trumpets informs us that God will judge us with mercy, while the Day of Atonement signifies that is God alone who will atone for or redeem us from our sins with justice.

Please pray about this information. God may be speaking to you right now. It is time for all of us to make peace. Peace with God. Which can only be done through the Lord Jesus Christ. Yes, make peace with God. Surrender to Him and His ways. Then and only then will you be able to make true peace with yourself, with God’s help. That is through repentance and salvation. Then and only then you will be able to make peace with all other people, places or events in your life. We serve an Awesome God. It appears like it is time to get serious about what is going on in God’s realm.

Ezek 7:8  And I will soon pour out My fury on you, and fulfill My anger on you. And I will judge you according to your ways, and will repay you for all your abominations.

1John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and you have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Psalm 91:22 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”

Through Him, We will overcome.

In prayer the Lord will guide you. Please give the above information good prayerful consideration.

My friend, Are you confident where you are going to spend eternity when this all ends? There is an end for all of us some day. Some of us maybe today.

There is only one way to know and be assured– Ask our Father in heaven in Jesus Christs’ name in prayer today!

Are You Saved from damnation, the eternal fate of so many? Are you sure? Ask Him. Find out and be assured.

Rom 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that  we are the children of God.

When we ask the Lord, in Jesus Christ’s name, He assures us with His peace and understanding. If for any reason you question your salvation, go to a quiet place, alone, and talk to Jesus. Repent of your sins and commit your life to Him. Then go to a bible believing church and get baptized.

He is faithful! He always listens and always responds!
