The Two most powerful spiritual forces in the world are LOVE and REJECTION!
Love is the most positive spiritual force in the world and Rejection is the most negative.
Have you suffered from the hurt and pains of being rejected? So many have and the effects can be devastating and seen everywhere.
Hearts broken, families destroyed and lives ruined and even lost.
Rejection and thus the fear of rejection can play a major role in the development and expression of the personality and moral fiber of each and every one of us. It can be one of the most powerful negative forces in the development of ones character and well being.
Rejection can be defined as the sense of being unwanted, unloved and even betrayed.
You desire people to love you, and yet you feel or believe that they do not provide that love. Or worse, that the ones you love have or will hurt you. You want to be part of a group, but you feel excluded. Somehow you are always on the outside looking in, trapped unable to do what you desire most
Rejection steals the love we so deeply are in need of. Sometimes rejection is so wounding and painful that the mind refuses to focus on it. It is in our nature to ignore or diminish it.
But, rejection can be so hurtful and damaging.
Nevertheless, down deep you may know something is there, even though it may be deeper than the mind, deeper than reason, deeper than any memory. Rejection takes root in your spirit. The book of Proverbs describes this as:
Pro. /5: 1) A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
Pro. 18: 14 The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?
Rejection causes a wounded spirit.
Love and rejection are emotional and spiritual.
The most powerful positive spiritual force in the universe is the love of God.
1 John 4:8, 16: “The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. And we have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love and the one who abides in love abides in God, God abides in him, and he in God.”
God is love; therefore, love is God’s most powerful force.
If love is the most powerful positive spiritual force in creation, it follows that lack of love is the most powerful negative spiritual force in creation.
Rejection is the denial or betrayal of love and acceptance in our lives. It is one of the most painful, the most neglected, yet the most common emotional wounds from which we suffer.
When someone has suffered from the trauma of rejection and has a Spirit of Rejection, two things happen.
1-They reject themselves, which is referred to as “Self Rejection”.
2- They live with and are guided by the Spirit of the “Fear of Rejection”.
Both are very powerful and controlling forces in one’s life.
Proverbs 15:13: “A joyful heart makes a cheerful face, but when the heart is sad, the spirit is broken. One of the products of rejection is a broken spirit.
Proverbs 17:22: “A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.” A broken spirit, brought about by rejection is capable of “drying up,” or taking away the desire for life.
Proverbs 18:14: The spirit of a man can endure his sickness, but a broken spirit who can bear?” If the desire for life has gone, there is no chance for healing to take place.
The Spirit of Rejection can become the dominate, controlling spirit in ones life.
When someone is rejected and thus self rejected, they often develop low self esteem, a poor self concept, a fantasy friend or friends, multiple personalities, paranoia, suspicious of other people and institutions. They then can live in a fantasy world that they can slip into during times of stress.
In this fantasy world they can often find peace because they are accepted and not rejected. They can be “in control” because they are not threatened by the fear of Rejection.
A child never picks up a rejection spirit receiving unconditional love, care and understanding.
There is always something bad going on in a child’s life when the spirit of rejection is brought in. A glaring example is when two parents get divorced and the rejection spirit comes in constantly telling the child that they are not loved and that it was their fault.
There is medical scientific evidence that a fetus, in the womb, senses rejection. There is also a large body of experiential evidence that a fetus can be affected painfully by rejection way, way, way before birth. The Spirit of Rejection can enter a person at or shortly after conception.
Yes, parents or a single parent can and sometimes do reject their children in the womb. Prenatal emotional traumas can cause rejection when emotionally or verbally expressed during a pregnancy. Emotional traumas like:
1- Parents are scared and overwhelmed because this pregnancy was totally unexpected or too soon after the prior child was born or the marriage.
2-Parents are upset because of the financial strain this pregnancy is putting on the family unit.
3- Parent(s) are disappointed because the child is the wrong sex.
4- Parent(s) are disappointed because the child is disabled and doesn’t meet their dreams and hopes.
5- Mother contemplated or attempted to have an abortion.
6- Mother contemplated or attempted to commit suicide.
The Spirits of Rejection and the Fear of Rejection are allowed to enter and form stronghold’s on one’s life because of any one of the above emotional traumas.
Rejection can happen to children in many ways also. The trauma of rejection can happen when:
1- Parents get divorced
2- From physical, verbal or sexual abuse.
3- When peers reject you from friendships or relationships
4- When figures of authority, like an older sibling, relative, pastor or teacher demeans, tells you, you are worthless and gives you guilt, shame, blame a feeling of worthlessness.
5- When love is withheld and healthy relationships are not formed.
6-When a child is raised by a single parent.
So many of us have been taught that demonic oppression can only come into our lives because of our own sin. To that I as:
“How can a child, who has never sinned, once in their life, have a spirit of Rejection?”
Psalm 58:3-4 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.
58:4 Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;
The wicked ones or naughty children are estranged from the womb, often because of the spirit of Rejection. They are afraid and often liars. They may seem to be cursed in one degree or another, because they are. But as you will see, those curses can all be broken.
2Peter 2:14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
Dysfunctional families are an open door for rejection to happen to a child and for the Spirit of Rejection to be ushered in. Satan has a heyday in all dysfunctional families.
Some causes of dysfunctional families are sinful people, life styles, addiction, when the female is the dominate adult in the family and single parent families. God created a right order for a family to be healthy.
Eph 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Eph 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
The above perfect instruction works beautifully when the spirit of Rejection is not present within the family unit. For when it is present, there is always, to some degree, a lack of love, respect and healthy relationships.
God has given us perfect instructions for a healthy and whole family to operate. The head of the household must honor Christ and His teachings above all others. Then He honors his wife above himself and then his children and himself, in that order. When the husband takes the time and has his priorities right, He and his wives relationship is loving, balanced and healthy. It takes time listening, even though you may not understand her emotions totally and a loving heart. Any other order opens up the door for the enemy and the results can be anger, fear, guilt, shame and resentments.
Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Eph 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Many of us react to the wounds of rejection we received early, for our entire lives. The Fear of Rejection can haunt us. Rejection wounds our spirit. This is because we were wounded at an early age, and we have been reacting through those wounds ever since. Without being delivered from this bondage, our spirit is never healed and always suffering. The trap is set for the revolving door to a counselor or doctor for the magic medicine to cure ones pain.
Sometimes rejection is so wounding and painful that the mind refuses to focus on it. Nevertheless, you know something is there even though it is deeper than the mind, deeper than the reason, deeper than the memory. It is in your spirit. The book of Proverbs describes this as:
(Pro. /5: 13) A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
(Pro. 18: 14) The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?
A vibrant, free spirit helps a person through great difficulties, but a crushed or wounded spirit has a crippling effect in all areas of life.
All Fear is Spiritual in nature. There is a second spirit that takes hold from rejection and it is called the “Fear of Rejection” spirit. This is the spirit that hinders us from having full and healthy relationships with God and all those that we love.
Once present the Spirit of Rejection causes emotional and mental havoc. Everyone experiences rejection at some time, but here are twelve symptoms of a demonic spirit of Rejection at work in ones life. You may suffer from a couple or many. If you identify with any of them please bring it to the Lord and ask for revelation on its cause to see if its source was Rejection. If you identify with multiple symptoms you can be assured you are dealing with the Spirit of Rejection and that God can free you and heal you.
ALWAYS HAVING TO PROVE YOURSELF WORTHY
LONELINESS
SELF-PITY
SELF DOUBTING
DEFEATISM
MISERY
ADDICTION
DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY
DESPAIR OR HOPELESSNESS
PARANOIA
SCHIZOPHRENIA
DEATH OR SUICIDE
All of which are also called psychological afflictions or issues. Big Pharma makes billions of dollars treating them.
Please review the above list. If any of these are major issues in your life and you have a sense that you were rejected, at some point in your life, it may be because of the presence of the Spirit of Rejection.
The primary consequence of the Spirit of Rejection is the inability to receive healthy love from others and to communicate true love to them in a wholesome, healthy way. So many have never been told and shown that they are loved. That is why rejection is one of the greatest hindrances to divine love. When allowed, God works in our lives to bring us to the knowledge of His divine love and how to Godly love the ones we love.
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. (Romans 5:5)
Love is never disappointed when it is fixed and centered in God. In God’s love, He withholds nothing. God’s love is perfect.
Simply recognizing and accepting what Christ has done for you may bring release from the oppression of the Spirit of Rejection. The act of forgiveness is absolutely necessary in getting healed from a traumatic Rejection. Some may need to take more direct deliverance action to rid themselves of the controlling Spirit of Rejection. But I guarantee you, you can become healed of the effects of being rejected.
I encourage you to watch this fifteen minute video. If you are under the bondage of the Spirit of Rejection, this is your time to get free!

Today is your day for action and freedom! Here is a simple freedom plan.
1. Let the Holy Spirit help you identify how or where you have been wounded by rejection. Try writing it down, it is important that you try to identify the person, people or institution that caused your Rejection.
2. Forgive all those involved in rejecting you. Truly forgive them.
That can be very hard, but absolutely necessary in getting healed. Forgiveness is a very powerful healing tool. I have a thorough teaching on forgiveness available onsite in a post entitled “God’s Prescription for freedom from Resentments and Anger”. Forgiveness is the answer.
3. Deliverance from the bondage and grasp of the demonic.
Bring it to Him and allow Him to do what He does best. He is here with you to help you.
Share with God honestly and let Him heal you – Tell God what happened to you and how you feel. Focus on Him and His faithfulness. Spend time with Him, and let Him restore where sin and rejection has destroyed. Forgiveness releases God’s divine healing power and takes away the ground that allows the Spirit of
Rejection to keep a hold of you.
“O lord my God, I called to you for help and you healed me” (Psalm 30:2).
Father, I wait now for You to bring to my mind, through, the Holy Spirit’s ministry any specific person or situation I need to forgive. I will to forgive: (Pause here to see what the Holy Spirit brings to mind.
Then specifically forgive each person or situation that rejected you. Spend as much time here as you need. Then:
Father, Your Word says that whoever calls on Your name shall be delivered. I ask now for deliverance from the curses and effects of unforgiveness and bitterness in my life, and I do now renounce and rebuke the unclean spirits involved. I renounce, rebuke, and CAST OUT all spirits of:
UNFORGIVENESS, ANGER, VIOLENCE, HATRED, REJECTION, FEAR, RETALIATION, MURDER AND MEMORY RECALL OF ALL OFFENSES AGAINST ME.
I curse the roots, the Spirits of Rejection and Unforgiveness in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to wither and dry-up to its roots and never again bear fruit in my life.
In the name of Jesus and by the power of His Blood, I break every curse that has come upon me and my family because of Rejection, Unforgiveness and all of their effects.
In the Name of Jesus Christ and under the authority of His Blood, I renounce, rebuke and cast-out all unclean spirits of rejection, guilt, condemnation, unworthiness, shame, infirmities and fears that have come in because of a bitter heart. I stand now, believing I am forgiven, knowing there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. I am forgiven and have been washed clean by the power of the Blood of Jesus. Father. I am loved. I am Your child.
Thank you Jesus, for cleansing us from all the effects of rejection, unforgiveness and bitterness.
Amen
Here is another sample Prayer for Forgiving those that rejected you and finally finding Peace.
It should be said when you can spend some quality time, alone, with God.
Mat 18:34-35 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
Father in heaven, I behold you as God of all the heavens and earth. I believe You sent Your Only Begotten Son, Yeshua, the Lord Jesus Christ, to the earth to destroy the works of the flesh and the devil.
I believe Jesus, the son of man, died on a cruel cross like a common criminal.
Believe that He shed His precious Blood to absolve me of my personal sins, the sins of my parents of my forefathers, and the sins of the world, to wash us cleanand heal us. I thank you, Father in heaven, for raising Jesus from the dead, to live forever as my Savior, my Lord, and my God.
Thank you, Father, for sending the Holy Spirit, to set all of those apart who receive Him as the baptizer, the Comforter and the One who empowers us to live the life of a true believer.
Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ and under the power of His Blood, I confess that I and those of my family as far back as Adam have not loved, but have rejected and resented certain people or groups who have hurt, slandered, offended, betrayed or disappointed us.
I have held: UNFORGIVENESS, BITTERNESS, PREJUDICES, HATRED, ANGER, RAGE, DESIRE FOR RETALIATION, EMOTIONAL MEMORIES, AND MURDER, IN MY HEART.
I confess I have caused hurt to others by my behavior and lack of love. You have told me in Your Word, that to be forgiven, I MUST forgive. I choose to obey Your Word, I choose to forgive individually, and in behalf of all those in my family tree all those carrying the Spirit of Rejection. I choose to forgive all those or she or he that rejected me. Please give me the grace and power to forgive Father.
Father, I plead the blood of Yeshua, my Lord Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, on all those in my family lineage for the power of your healing love to be poured out upon them.
As God of the living, who lives outside of time, I pray You would bring all of the (Father’s name) and (Mother’s last name) families and all their generations before You that we may be absolved of our curses of unforgiveness and rejection. In Jesus name.
I rebuke and break all curses brought upon myself and my family because of any and all Spirits of Rejection.
I forgive (my mother, father or figure of authority that rejected me). It is only because you first loved me that I can forgive. Thank you Jesus!
I declare and confirm my and our forgiveness to:
Each and every person, living or dead, who has rejected me, in any way hurt, disappointed, betrayed, failed, abused or caused unjust pain to me.
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you” (Ephesians 4:32).
Release the offender to God – Repent of your desire to punish or take revenge. Let God deal with the offense. Focus on today rather than the past. Let the offender off the hook. Declare God as judge over the person and the situation.
“Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the lord” (Romans 12:19).
“Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse” (Romans 12:14).
God will give us the grace to fully set everyone free. May we be like Jesus, who was the first one to love. When God forgives us, He gives us the power to forgive. May the river of God’s life flow through us in that we bless everyone.
“Forgiveness is the very spirit of heaven removing the hiding places of demonic activity from the caverns of the human soul. It is every wrong made right and every evil made void. The power released in forgiveness is actually a mighty weapon in the war to save our soul!”
Thank Jesus for the Love that He provides you.
Are you confident where you are going to spend eternity when this all ends? There is an end for all of us some day. Some of us maybe today.
There is only one way to know and be assured– Ask our Father in heaven in Jesus Christs’ name in prayer today!
Are You Saved from damnation, the eternal fate of so many? Are you sure? Ask Him. Find out and be assured.
Rom 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.
When we ask the Lord, in Jesus Christ’s name, He assures us with His peace and understanding. If for any reason you question your salvation, go to a quiet place, alone, and talk to Jesus. Repent of your sins and commit your life to Him. Then go to a bible believing church and get baptized.
He is faithful! He always listens and always responds!

I have family I’m passing this on to Pastor. God Bless you.
Rebecca Finley
I am fighting this almost everyday of my life and now I see it being carried over to my 6 year old son…..
It has brought delay in my life, it has taken people away from me the moment they become close to me and it has caused me to feel sorry for myself.
I Dont want that at all!!! Thank you for your obedience to the call of God Almighty, many are lost and through your ministry, many shall be delivered and be saved.
God is truly using you and this ministry. I can personally attest to the damage rejection can do. I made many choices in my life that were based on my father’s rejection of me at a very young age. The thing is, I wasn’t aware that my choices were as a direct result of that until I personally accepted Jesus. I always appeared strong to others but inside I wasn’t. This manifested itself especially in choosing a mate. I always chose people who were not worthy because I felt I wouldn’t be rejected if they felt I was a catch. Suffice it to say this brought nothing but pain.
It’s amazing that when I read your article on rejection it was exactly what I went through. I immediately got on my knees and prayed. I pray for you and Kate that Yahuah God continue to use you to enlighten others.
Thank you, God Bless.
Stop by often, lot’s to absorb here.
Pastor Thomas
I repent al the time and am forgiven everytime. His mercies are new every morning. When we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us. Guilt and shame should only lead us to repentance. Once we confess our sins, He forgives us and forgets them and throws them as far as the east is from the west. Receive his forgiveness and know that he loves you. Jesus took all your sins upon himself and imputed his righteousness on you. If you struggle with the same sin again and again, you may need deliverance or to turn and run from it when Holy Spirit convicts you of it. Don’t put yourself in vulnerable situations where you are weak.
please tell me, I know the power of words is powerful but can a person pray and it means nothing? as sometimes lately, I pray and it feels like I’m just talking to myself, I’ve lost that spiritual connection. I have repented of my sins and I just feel a lot of guilt and shame that I just can’t be good enough not to sin anymore, and if sin is death then that means we are constantly disconnected from God until we repent. again I have repented so I’m not sure why my prayers feel so empty but I do know the spirit of rejection has been upon me and I have prayed these prayers now but they just feel like words with lost connection to god. can prayers work if you’re disconnected from God?
Wow, that was really piercing brother Thomas, yes there is and has been a lot of rejection in my family line, I thank the Lord for revealing this to me. And thank you. God Bless
